I just recently purchased a 2024 G16 (GU605MY) and a wifi 7 router. I wanted to ask this question before unscrewing the back of the laptop to verify myself, as I never like doing so, unless I absolutely have to, as I've fried motherboards accidentally trying to unplug the battery (as I sometimes have shaky hands). In reviews of the Intel BE200NGW m.2 wlan card, there are lots of people complaining that their laptop's wlan m.2 slot has A notch and not E notch, seems this new wifi7 card is using newer E notch. Its a cheap part, that can be easily returned if it doesn't work, but as I stated earlier, I can have shaky hands on occasion and don't even want to mess with it if I can get some verification of someone else who has already checked. The documentation doesn't specify.......
TIA,
Steve

I decided to find out for myself, Its an E notched slot. This does mean that at least the BE200 M.2 will fit properly. $28 dollar Amazon order placed. Worse case scenario, if it doesn't work, I can return it. Will be fun to see something actually connect to my wifi 7 router at BE speeds 🙂 My router has a 10G Ethernet port on it, connected to a desktop with a 10G port on it, so I can actually do some decent speed tests copying files to and from each other......
