Hello, I own an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 GU603ZV-n4008 (I7-12700h/RTX 4060) bios: 313
Sometimes the keyboard completely stops working, while only the M1 and M4 keys remain functional. After about 1–2 minutes, the keyboard restores functionality by itself without rebooting.
In addition, when using iGPU+dGPU (Hybrid) mode, I often experience micro-freezes of the cursor on the desktop — small freezes lasting about 0.5–1 second. This week alone, I encountered this issue 5–6 times.
These bugs are not rare; they repeat from time to time and are quite unpleasant during daily use.
I have tried reinstalling drivers (both from the official ASUS website and via Windows Update), and I have updated BIOS, Armoury Crate, and ASUS System Control Interface to the latest versions. Unfortunately, the issues remain.
I would like to submit this as a bug report so that your engineers can track these problems and hopefully address them in future BIOS/driver updates.
Thank you.

I have exactly the problem you are describing. Sorry do disappoint you but i am not sure a fix will come. My model is ASUS ROG Zephyrus GU603VV 2023. 2 Years passed and nobody cared about keyboard not responding (Reddit Reports) also micro-freezes you described i can also verify that come from intel graphics Software/Hardware fault.

Hi! Glad to hear that someone else has the same issue.
At first, I even thought it was a hardware defect. I took the laptop to a service center (Vik-On in Moscow) — they told me it’s a driver problem.
As for a fix — honestly, I don’t know. I just hope ASUS will address it. But to be honest, I’m already tired of the ASUS brand: too much time spent on settings and troubleshooting. For comparison, I have a Lenovo Ideapad 3 — after 3–4 years I’ve had absolutely no problems with it, never even had to contact support.
P.S. There’s another bug (not sure if you’ve seen it too):
1.If you switch the laptop to ECO mode (iGPU), then restart and go back to Hybrid mode (iGPU + dGPU), the brightness control stops working. The only way to fix it is to reboot again in Hybrid mode.
2.A friend recommended the GHelper app, which solves this issue — since then, I haven’t had the problem with brightness.
P.P.S. 2. About a year ago there was another bug: when switching from ECO mode to Hybrid mode (iGPU + dGPU), the screen started flickering (as if the refresh rate was changing). At least ASUS engineers eventually fixed that one. Now switching between ECO mode (iGPU) and Hybrid mode (iGPU + dGPU) happens seamlessly (without flickering).

Hi
When checking with powercfg /a, the system shows only S0 (Modern Standby) available — there is no S3 sleep state.
On battery power: the laptop correctly enters sleep (Modern Standby) after the configured timeout.
On AC power: even if “Sleep after 30 minutes” is set in the power plan, the laptop never goes to sleep. It stays active in S0 mode for many hours.
powercfg /sleepstudy report confirms only S0 sessions, with Wi-Fi / PCIe root ports / GPU activity preventing deeper idle states.
Added 11.09: I tested again today with the latest BIOS and drivers. The behavior is the same:
On battery, system sleeps after timeout.
On AC, it never enters sleep automatically.
Any clarification from ASUS support or engineers would be very helpful. Thank you!

I feel you. I also had a Toshiba that was a "veteran" . But as tech moves on things are getting more and more complicated! As for no 1. try use the buttons for brightness. they work. this indicates a software problem.
