Greetings, everyone.
I have purchased a 2022 ROG Zephyrus G15, with Ryzen 7 6800HS and Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti, and I've had it for about a year and half now. While it has been fantastic, I've had numerous freezes and BSODs which sometimes restart and other times don't.
Over the year and half period, I've noticed that the freezing/BSOD mostly happens when the laptop gets plugged in while on battery and no intensive task running. This is the most common scenario I've noticed it happens on.
I've tried updating then downgradingy drivers, tried testing the memory, and some other stuff, but to no avail.
Most common BSOD errror code was WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR but other ones do pop up from time to time.
EDIT 1: Some grammatical corrections.
Update 5/4/2025: The WHEA error has been narrowed down to the PCI Express Root Port which currently has the Samsung 990 Pro NVMe SSD installed in it. I think I have to replace it as WHEA errors can't be fixed with software.
Update 2: FIXED. It was high temperatures on the 990 Pro due to extremely high activity by the system (not sure why though, writing things to it, perhaps?) but switching the SSD from the slot on the left to the slot on the right when the laptop is open seemed to fix temps and the freezes/BSODs so far.
