Bought an best buy open box asus rog zephyrus, can't register it

Hi all, as the subject suggests, I bought an asus rog zephyrus and it says that the device has already been registered when I try to register it.

I was in the same situation, and issue got resolved  in 2 days by contacting the Asus support. I needed to provide invoice and a photo of S/N on the device.
