My Zephyrus M gu502gv (2019) screen has been on and off for some weeks. Sometimes the display worked and sometimes it didn't.
Then it stopped working, so I started plugging it in an external monitor through HDMI. Then yesterday, during an Nvidia graphics install, the monitor stopped getting signal from my computer in HDMI.
I am blind basically, with no external monitor and laptop screen working
What I tried already (with no success) :
- Ctrl + shift + Win + B to refresh display change
- CMOS reset by plugging back the battery
- checking if internal screen is plugged correctly (yes it is)
At startup i can have like a flash of light with asus rog logo, but then screen turns off...
At that stage i am not sure buying a new screen would solve the issue, i may be a software issue, any one has a clue or additionnal steps i could do ?
