Hi guys,
So I wanna preface this by saying I'm not the most technologically adept guy so I'm coming here for advice. I recently purchased a new ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop, and while it has been mostly great, lately I've been getting some pretty bad framerate drops in games like Valheim, Baldur's Gate 3, etc. It's usually a smooth experience for about 15 minutes, and then the Framerate just tanks. I'm honestly confused as to what the issue could be. Is it just that the laptop is running too hot? I'm running on performance mode and giving the laptop plenty of room to breathe. Would a cooling pad help?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hey tarik,
drops in frames is something natural in gaming, especially while playing such games, what you should do is check if the gpu is up to date, then check for windows updates, after that try to set adjust the ingame settings, i play cod and r6 the frames drops like 5 or 10 but for a couple of seconds especially on what is happening during your session, so adjusting the game settings would help so much, you can download geforce experience where it can adjust you settings to match your system tho I don’t prefer that, while for cooling pads i never had one and still don’t have my answers on it if it’s good or not for the fans since it keeps pumping air.
