I own a 2021 version Zephyrus s17 gx703hr laptop with i7-11800h and rtx3070, 16gb ram. Since I purchased the laptop (7 months ago) I've been having issues with freezes on demanding games like metro, warframe, Battlefield (1,5), fallout 4, Path of exile, titanfall 2 etc. playing on max settings or really high. Every time I tried to play those games, the games would crash and shut off completely. I tried reinstalling the graphics drivers, going back to previous versions of the drivers, reinstalling the games, changing direct x , and lastly I tried reinstalling windows but none of them worked. I searched everywhere in the internet to find a fix to those problems but no-one had an answer for it but yet so many people were experiencing those problems.I tried to change the armory settings created from turbo to efficient but it didn't help, I also tried to manually change something but it still didn't help, I gave it to the service they talk me all is ok, I tried different tests for GPU, CPU, RAM, SSD everything looks great but it always crashes in games. I don't understand what's the problem now for half a year I struggle with this laptop. Someone help me!!!

Sounds like I might have a similarly configured machine. I don't stress it much with gaming but I do have a couple of strategy games that are graphics-intensive. Never a hiccup. I don't suppose you did a check on the Event Viewer to see what if anything is crashing. If it is a graphics card crash there usually won't be any Windows log entry, which is the simple diagnostic for that failure. Have you run any benchmarking apps like FurMark to stress test things? Seems like you have tried most everything else. You probably already know that this laptop uses a motherboard Intel graphics card for most routine display jobs and switches to the Nvidia 3070 card for gaming. There may be issues with that function. First thing I would check would be the version numbers on the installed ASUS utilities in Control Panel>Programs and Features against this list.

Thanks man, but I already sold it yesterday, I'm sick of messing around in it.
