So, before I re-installed windows, I had set Turbo Mode in Armoury Crate and would get very loud fan action when CPU temps started climbing.
I've since done a fresh install, updated all drivers/software, and have everything running very well, EXCEPT my fans.
Armoury Crate reports Turbo Mode, with CPU fan at 4000-4100 RPM (I think this is an error?) all the time, but I don't get the max fan performance I'm used to even when I benchmark with Cinebench (Which immediately spiked my temps to 95, with no fan increase).
Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? My CPU fans just sit at one speed no matter the load.
Switching to Silent Mode does turn down the fans, so it seems like there's at least some control being done of the fans in AC.
