Asus Zephyrus GX501 is it possible to use with monıtor while lid,screen closed ?

I want to buy this laptop in a few days but I have question in my mind which is quite important for me:

I want to use it with an external monitor but I really wonder, Can I use it without raising the screen? I mean I want to use it in a closed way.

And also I wonder if there is a any heat difference with is open screen position and closed screen position in both idle and underload condition ? And if there is a heat difference what it could be?

Because if I have to use it in open screen position that would be huge mess on the desk and its a big problem for me

yes is possible to use the screen with the computer lid closed. however the temp could be rising high since air flow are shut down

You could try removing the bottom panel and putting the laptop on a cooler pad.
