ASUS Zephyrus G16 – Touchpad Accidental Touch Sensitivity Issue

Hi everyone,

I recently got an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 (2024 model), and I'm noticing a really frustrating issue with the touchpad. It seems overly sensitive to accidental touches—especially when I'm typing. Even the slightest brush from my palm will move the cursor or click something unintentionally, which interrupts my workflow constantly.

I've tried adjusting the touchpad settings through Windows and Armoury Crate, but I can’t seem to find a setting that helps reduce the sensitivity or prevent palm rejection issues. I'm running Windows 11 and all my drivers and BIOS are up to date.

Has anyone else experienced this on the G16? Are there any workarounds or specific settings that help mitigate this? I'd appreciate any suggestions—or even just to know I’m not the only one seeing this.

I also have a G16 (2024 model), I have not had any touchpad sensitivity issues on my device. Image below is what I could find for changing touchpad sensitivity in windows settings. You could also try using the disable touchpad hotkey FN+F10. Hopefully you are able to figure out if your touchpad is defective or not.
