Hi guys i recently purchased a zephyrus g16 RTX 4080 ultra 9 2024 model . And i would like opinion and advice from experts : First of all i would like to appreciate the pros Of this laptop: 1.its slim and light weight 2.speakers are one of the best 3.loved the oled screen 4.fan noise is not that annoyingly loud 5.looks good
Cons: 1.surface of laptop heats up 2.cpu temperature gets high while gaming
Overall I’m happy with my laptop There are certain queries below which i need expert opinion ,i know there are too many doubts but it would be great if someone shares his views on this which would be helpful 1.will uninstalling armour crate and installing g helper reduce the cpu temperature without affecting performance ? 2.is a cooling pad necessary or just the laptop stand/riser will help reduce temperature ? 3.if i wish to upgrade ssd which one should i go for ?and is a thermal pad 0.5/1 necessary to install the second nvme ssd in slot? 4.will the second nvme ssd generate more heat? 5.which is a good nvme ssd for gaming and editing samsung 990 pro or wd 850x or any other model? 6.does the second slot of ssd give half read and write speed compared to main ssd? 7.is heating issue only present in windows laptop of does the mac book pro m3 max also heat up and gets loud during gaming or heavy load?
