Try setting the hdr content brightness to 50,then adjust your hdr brightness from game settings, leaving windows settings at 50.

I don't have a Duo, but Had a similar issue on my Zephyrus. My issue was resolved after did a clean install of the newest armory software/nvidia drivers. Windows did not like my HDR settings for a while.

There is a similar issue going around at present with new MSI laptops when they are in Optimus mode.

I am not sure, does this laptop have a MUX Switch, and if so, is it enabled to be in dGPU mode?

If so then I am not sure, but if it is in optimus mode it might be the same issue affecting MSI laptops.

To remedy those, the advice is to use the free tool DDU to remove intel and nvidia drivers

Remove laptop colour tools/profiles

Reinstall latest video drivers, then install any colour accessories the laptop came with

The only reason I say this is because that screen looks precisely like what was happening on my MSI, the exact same washed out look

And it happens after a windows update when windows updates some Intel component, maybe the same is happening here

The have tested many titles now including elden ring, the ones that perform the best are the ones with option to choose between 60hz or 165hz in-game (example lego star wars-skywalker saga, nioh 2,forza horizon 5) .
If you get washed out colours...launch the game...then enable xbox game bar that reads frame rates etc.(you will have to enable the program everytime you wanna play HDR
You can set the app to transparency mode, make sure you sticky for it to stay on screen.

Have included pics HDR Off & HDR On (with xbox game enabled)(screenshot of the washed out colours corrects itself when i snip full screen)

I believe this washed out issue is due to multizone backlight. When I disable HDR and enable multizone backlight, I see similar washed out screen when HDR is enabled.

washed out when multizone baclight is selected https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PstD7lm-LEl61DXeuwI-nACvgcenPG64/view?usp=sharing

on my system, I have an other issue, where mouse pointer turns grey when HDR is disabled. It's so annoying that only restart fix the problem. This mouse pointer gets screwed up everywhere, even in game.

Anyone also seeing this behavior ?

Desktop colors are not optimised to run HDR so the colors will look washed out when you have HDR enabled, its very normal...so you don't have too worry ;)The other problem bout mouse,im not sure...see if all driver & bios updates have been done.

Yes, bios and all drivers are latest. I read somewhere that this issue exists and workaround is use black themed mouse pointer.
