I’m running into a strange issue with my ASUS ROG Zephyrus and would appreciate any insight.
My laptop has started producing a static or clicking sound that seems to come from the internal audio path. It happens even when the audio drivers are disabled. I’ve recorded an example of the sound here:

The problem started right after I had both Zoom and my DAW (Renoise) open. After that session, the noise became constant. I’ve tried the usual steps such as disabling drivers, muting inputs, turning off enhancements, and checking for background apps, but the noise is still there.
Has anyone run into something like this on a Zephyrus?
Could it be a hardware grounding fault, coil whine, or something related to the audio interface being overloaded by both apps?
Any ideas or tests I should run would be really helpful.
