Hello,
I've had this laptop for about 3 years now. A couple of weeks ago, my E, G, H, and right arrow keys on my keyboard started having issues. They don't register any input at all whatsoever on startup, but after 5-10 minutes, they become responsive again. They seem to stay responsive after restarting as well. But after shutting down my laptop and leaving it off for about an hour or more, the problem persists again on startup. I've been using an external keyboard since then.
I've tried these options below:
Reinstalling/updating keyboard drivers
Reinstalling/updating firmware
Checking Windows Updates and optional updates
Changing keyboard layout
Went into Advanced Setup and BIOS to restart
I've been told to try to reinstall Windows 11, but I'd like to know if there are any other options software-wise that I may have missed before doing so. I'm highly suspecting that this may be a hardware issue, but I want to exhaust other options first. Any help is appreciated.
