Hello all!
I have been having a strange problem with my computer, an asus rog zephyrus G14. Recently, I replaced its battery, RAM, and memory in order to revamp it a little. However, upon having done this, it now exhibits some strange behavior in that it only turns on once right after the battery is connected, and even that only with the power cord plugged in.
It works normally while on, but then when I turn it off again, it only starts up again once the battery has been disconnected and reconnected again. This now occurs both with the new and the old battery, so it likely cannot be a problem with the battery itself.
Additional solutions I have attempted and had no luck with:
- I updated all drivers, which didn't change anything.
- I reset BIOS, to no luck
- I switched out every one of the items I replaced with the old ones, to no avail.
- I have double-checked the connector, and it looks tine
If it helps, sleep and restart work perfectly fine. This only occurs once the computer has been shut down and I try to turn it on again.
Does anyone have any advice? I haven't been able to find similar experiences online, and I'm running out of ideas for what to try next! Thank you!
