I bought the laptop for 3870$ (3400€ in Europe).
The Wi-Fi is worse than on any other device I own. My old laptop has a throughput of 40 Mbps.
The G14 (in the exact same location, about 4 meters from the router) has a throughput of 28 Mbps.
On the second floor of my house, the laptop's 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection constantly drops, tries to reconnect, drops again, and so on. It's completely unusable. All other devices (2 Lenovo laptops, 1 HP laptops, an internet radio, all mobile phones) work fine.
The 2.4 GHz network doesn't work at all with the G14. It doesn't even recognize any 2.4 GHz network.
All drivers are up to date, and the BIOS is up to date. I've tried every Wi-Fi setting. Nothing works. It doesn't recognize 2.4 GHz networks (the router's channel is 6, by the way, so that can't be the problem).
It has no Fingerprint sensor. Ok I should have checked this beforehand, of course, but each of our $1000 laptops has a sensor, and you wouldn't assume that a $3800 device doesn't have one.
It doesn't open wide enough. I specifically bought a small laptop because I work lying down a lot for health reasons. But here, the laptop doesn't open wide enough to give me the right angle to the screen. What kind of nonsense is that?
What a miserable piece. Asus can't even install a decent network card. So I can't use this ... thing.
Does anyone have any advice on how to at least use the 2.4 GHz network so that I can use the laptop on the second floor?

You were at least able to f*cking buy one, I've been trying for two months, but ASUS decided that only Low Countries will have them available (as of right now). They were for sure never once available in Poland where I live. We even use the same keyboard layout as Low Countries, but they do not ship outside, so yeah, having a great experience too.
