I just purchased a 2023 ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 with i9-13900H and Nvidia 4070. I like it so far. I want to expand the RAM size and came up with the following 3 options.
1. Add a single 16GB DDR5 DIMM. Question: I am under the impression that one needs to purchase a set of matched DIMMs to expand from 16GB to 32GB. Will getting just one 16GB DIMM create reliability problems?
2. Add a single 32GB DDR5 DIMM. Question: Will I run into performance/speed issue with two DIMMs of different sizes?
3. Purchase a set of 2X32GB DIMMs to expand RAM to 64GB: Question: I have two sub-options here: 4800MT/sec vs 5400MT/sec DIMMs. How much performance difference is there between these two?
