200w Power Adapter Issue

Recieved my Asus G16 Zephyrus Ryzen 9 RTX 4070 yesterday and when i plug in the 200w privided power adapter I get the following message "The power connector is not plugged in properly" although appears to still charge the laptop. When i flip the adapter over and plug it in it charges normally without the warning message. The charger will plug into the laptop either way round, so not sure why one way it works and the other way it dosn't.

Is this a MyAsus software issue or?

1. Update MyAsus:

Check for Updates: Open the MyAsus app and look for any available updates for the system and the power adapter driver.
Install Updates: If updates are available, install them and restart your laptop.

2. Reseat the Power Adapter:

Disconnect and Reconnect: Unplug the power adapter from both the laptop and the power outlet.
Reinsert: Plug the adapter back into the laptop and the power outlet, ensuring a tight connection.
Try Different Ports: If your laptop has multiple power ports, try plugging the adapter into a different port.

3. Check for Physical Damage:

Inspect the Adapter: Look for any visible damage to the adapter's cable or plug.
Inspect the Laptop Port: Check the laptop's power port for any signs of damage or debris.

4. Contact Asus Support:

Gather Information: Have your laptop's model number, serial number, and a detailed description of the issue ready.
Reach Out: Contact Asus support through their website, phone, or social media channels.
Provide Details: Clearly explain the issue, including the specific error message and any troubleshooting steps you've already taken.

Additional Tips:

Try a Different Outlet: Test the adapter in a different power outlet to rule out any power supply issues.
Check for Software Conflicts: Temporarily disable any third-party power management software to see if it's interfering with the adapter.
Consider a Factory Reset: As a last resort, you could try performing a factory reset on your laptop, but be sure to back up your important data beforehand.
