I have a question: Why does my ROG Strix laptop constantly lock the keyboard? - e.g. when I've not been on the computer for a long time and it automatically goes into standby/power mode after a certain amount of time, or just out of nowhere. I've looked for x solutions on the internet, e.g.
- update the keyboard drivers on Device Manager (no use as they are already up to date) or remove them and reinstall them
- I have also deactivated the keystroke delay, and have done so for a while
- as well as character repetition delay from short to long
- etc.
and despite everything, it doesn't help. It can't be the driver, because as already mentioned, it is already up to date. Windows 11 is also up to date. I don't have any viruses or anything like that. My ROG Strix also shows or finds no defects or errors in the system, so system diagnostics show nothing. The only keys that still work when locked are
- M1 (volume down)
- M2 (volume up)
- M3 (microphone on/off)
- M4 (power mode)
- and M5 button (Armory Crate)
All the others don't work, i.e. F1 to f12 and the remaining keys. Does anyone have any idea why this could be?
