What would you choose between an Asus ROG Strix SCAR 18 and an Asus Zephyrus G16 OLED?

Hey,

What would you guys choose between an Asus Zephyrus G16 OLED and Asus Strix SCAR 18" Miniled laptop?

Both have the same specs basically, with the same GPU - RTX5080.

To be honest I only care about the display -> one has a OLED screen but "only" 500nits while the other has Miniled with 1200nits.
The Asus Strix SCAR has a matte display while the Asus Zephyrus has a Glossy display, with the Strix being abit bigger (18" vs 16").
From my experience with PC monitors OLED also tend to be very fragile when it comes to particles of dust or microscratches.

What would you choose between these 2 for media consumption? Like movies, animes etc (and abit of gaming ofc).

Is the difference between OLED and Miniled really that big with OLED coming superior in every way?

I'd go strix scar, everything else aside, chances are the zephy will have lower power limits and if I was to pay the Nvid tax for the 5090 I'd want all the performance it has to offer.

Idc that much for fps tbh as I'll be playing light games like Xcom2 / Darkest Dungeon etc.

I care about its screen, how movies, animes even games look on it.

I know that OLED should be always superior to Miniled but since it's a laptop OLED 500nits vs Miniled 1200nits...dunno how bright the OLED is.
Also I had a very bad experience in the past with an Asus PG32UCDM glossy monitor it was prone to microscratches / particles of dust / smudges so I've switched to a matte PG32UCDP.
Some people said that OLEDs are different when it comes to laptop screens (even if they're glossy) but I have no idea if it's true in the case of this specific Asus model.

If depends on me i will take miniled whit 1200 nits brightness also the pixel burn is not a problem in the miniled 

The only IMPORTANT thing you need to know is that whit MINILED you need to adjust the colors this is very important becouse out of the box the screen and colors doesn't look so good and whit adjustment the different is VERY VERY BIG if you wont write here i can sedn you the Nvidia control settings and HDR calibration settings to get really good collors and almost perfect deep black colors in games and movies 

And the other benefits of strix scar laptop is that the screen is 18 inch 

Another benefits is that the 18inch Scar Strix is bigger na have better cooling and for sure better performance and less overheating !!! If depend on me i will never buy Zephyrus model laptop
