I have the 502vmk. When I first started playing this game after I bought the laptop my temps were up there as well. Undervolt the CPU with throttlestop, there's plenty of guides on here and on the web of how to undervolt the i7 6700, and the GTX970, and your temps will drop substantially.
I also read somewhere that that model of laptop might have a dust filter/tape in the vents, unless you're playing outside in a dust storm I don't see them as anything but a restriction. As the previous reply said, thermal paste is a must. I've also seen where people add a third fan from a GL702VT and squeeze it in the case by the intake, according to the OP that alone dropped him 4-7c.
Also disabling turbo boost will probably drop temps 10c
