Urgent: ASUS ROG STRIX G713QM Fails to Detect Its Own Display!

Hello, ASUS Community,

I’m reaching out in hopes of finding a solution for a critical issue with my ASUS ROG STRIX G713QM laptop. After two months of inactivity, I returned home, plugged it in with the original charger, and performed a Windows update. Unfortunately, after restarting, my screen went completely blank, and the laptop is unable to detect its own 17.3" 165Hz QHD IPS display.

To troubleshoot, I’ve already attempted the following:

  1. Followed all troubleshooting steps on the ASUS official support page: ASUS Support
  2. Reinstalled the NVIDIA RTX 3060 display drivers, restored Windows, and reset the BIOS.
  3. Formatted Windows and erased the hard disk.
  4. Consulted with Microsoft Level 2 Senior Support for assistance.

I’ve worked incredibly hard to afford this expensive laptop and have taken great care of it like a precious gem. It’s disheartening to think that the original display hardware should fail after just two years of use.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I’d greatly appreciate any insights or solutions. Your help could save my laptop from becoming a costly paperweight!
