I recently did a system restore and i lost all my asus utilities. I installed p4g and the hot keys but i noticed that the turbo options were gone from high performance mode. Is there a way to get it back?? This is the last thing that is wrong with my laptop, i just want it to be fix 🙂 thank you

The new Intel CPUs have their own TurboMode that works better than the P4G, because it is automatic. When ASUS switched to Nehalem (i7-740QM) CPUs and later (SandyBridge, IvyBridge,...), it was no longer necessary to over-clock CPUs in order to obtain a certain single-threaded performance baseline. The P4G Turbo, with the newest CPUs, is redundant and worthless. Now if you have an older (Core 2 Duo) CPU, try looking on your system-recovery disks. Alternately, root around on ASUS ftp site:

I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

We now have 178 people whose systems will not break! Yippee! 🙂
LINUX Users, we have a group!

zygomorphic is right. i installed windows from scratch, and lost the fucntion of the ROG button. When the pc is powered off, the button powers it on and enters the Asus Express Gate software. In Windows it doesn't do anything. It used to change the Windows profile. Battery Saver, Balanced, Performance. Really don't care 🙂
