Troubble with installing the G 75 VX

Hi folks.

Just Bought the brand new ASUS G75VX-T4080H the other day, and i have serious problems with it.
I have upgraded it with a 240GB OCZ Agility 3SSD, and +4 GB 1600MHZ RAM.
I want to install Win7, insted of Win8.
Ihave put in the SSD, and the memory in the Laptop, and the Boot DVD, and it say's Windows is copying files, that Windows is loading files, and then i have a black screen stating Starting windows, and nothing happens.
I have tried it without the extra memory, only with the SSD in one of the HDD bays, to the original HDD, with which the laptop came, but i have every time the same problem.
I see the SSD in the Bios, i have tried AHCI, RAID mode, but still the same.
I had untill today a 2 weeks old ASUS G75VW-T1321V at home, amd i have put in the DVD, and the SSD in to that Laptop, and there the installation started, i have waited till the first reboot, and then, switched back the SSD, to the VX again, but there it was not booting at all.
PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP!!!!!!!!!

I assume that you have the right boot order? Oh, and are you using UEFI boot? That causes problems with Win7.

Thx for the quick reply.
I am useing the right boot order, DVD first, and i am using UEFI, as this isthe only option with DVD drive i have.
I could add more, but i do not know exactly how to add a new boot device manually.
And BTW. the only difference is/was between the two G75's, apart from the graphics card, is the bios version.
2.14 is the bios version of the device in which the install worked, and 2.15 is the bios version of the device on which the install fails.

from the ASUS FAQ page:
How do I boot to DOS with USB Flash drive or USB CD-ROM?
1. Enter the BIOS setup menu by pressing and holding F2 key when powering on.
2. Switch to "Boot" and set “Launch CSM” to Enabled.
3. Switch to "Security" and set "Secure Boot Control" to Disabled.
4. Press F10 to save and exit.
5. Press and hold ESC key to lunch boot menu when the notebook restarts.

it's best if you have the w7 install disk with sp1 if you wanna do UEFI install. you might wanna read this as well.

edit: yes, like what Zygomorphic said, there might be issues if you installed windows 7 with UEFI style. the first thing is to make sure your ssd is converted to GPT disk first before the installation.

Haven't coverted my SSD to anything, will that be a problem?

if you want to install windows 7 in UEFI mode, i think the conversion is required; without a GPT disk, you will install windows in BIOS mode.

No, i just wanted to install Win7 in normal mode, and not is uefi mode.

in that case just make sure it's a MBR disk and proceed.

@Zygomorphic, @timppu have 2 similar threads (here and here). i have answered @timppu in his other thread with that. but he seemed to have problems finding the options in bios.
