SCAR 18 2025 rtx 5090 ultra 275hx
i use manual mode with maxed out fans and pl1 and pl2 and whenever games hit 90+100 watts on the cpu
playing cpu demanding games like battlefield 2042 and fortnite that use 90-100watts can drain the battery pluged in
i like manual because it keeps the cpu at 5.1 ghz instead of 4ghz...i max out the fans and i get lower temps and 10 more fps because cpu is using more wattage but the drain is the problem . maybe it cannot handle the 5ghz with 100watts usage on the cpu .
the battery starts to drain on manual mode at 85-100 watts plugged in want to know if this is normal? if the cpu or the game doesn't do more than 70 watts than its fine.. why is that i thought it would handle the extra power whats the point?
i believe its a design issue maybe they will change how it works after bios update? i just want to know if this is normal because all the laptops i had used to drain when i was pushing them to the max. but this is not anything crazy i just max out the manual profile it shouldn't drain.
