Hi,

Running a GL504GS.308 and simply here to vent. I hardly even game on the thing - why bother?

Issues:
* Fan noise & heat during even basic browsing in handful of tabs
* Constant lagging / stalling of the trackpad
* Poor wi-fi signal / power
* Poor battery life (heavily influenced by the 144Mhz refresh, but why no switching to an onboard GPU?)
* Audio-level dropouts - NOW FIXED somehow
* Broken 3.5mm jack surround (may be my fault, but probably just crap materials)
* Broken right USB port
* Crap ASUS software - just give up on it, please Asus

Edit:
* Unreliable operation of Bluetooth input devices (looking at you Surface equipment)

Dont know if this will help but when I am just browsing I put it in silent mode so the fans wont take off.

can do that but the underlying heat/CPU issues seem to take over. Anyway, it's 2020, so why are we doing manual fan control?
