Sudden freezes with my ASUS ROG STRIX G16

Ok, so I have bought this laptop few days ago. It looks solid and original. However, it freezes and gets stuck for a split second out of nowhere sometimes. Additionally, when I turned off services of Armoury Crate to reach a better performance Fn + Fx keys stopped working, most of them, only mute combination seemed to work. When I would press customizable hotkeys the buttons were not doing what they were supposed to. Volume down customizable hotkey would mute microphone and mute microphone hotkey would volume down. It is just disappointing to see that I cannot even use the most important part of the laptop Fn + Fx keys when Armoury Crate services are disabled … As I said the bigger issue is the sudden freezes. I cannot believe such monster can do this. Someone please assist me with these issues. The specs:

1) Download the latest Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool, extract it, then run it. Click Expand All to see it listed below: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/

2) Restart your laptop after you have uninstalled it

3) Reinstall the latest Armoury Crate again from here = https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/

When you download any file, Windows places a BLOCKED marker on it. This is a big issue for developers when users complain that a program doesn't install or is installed but doesn't work properly. The same applies to drivers.

It is a nuisance because Windows does not distinguish between a safe file and a harmful file. It just blocks everything you download, which is why you sometimes get the warning that says, "Are you sure you want to open this file?"

Right-click on the file you just downloaded, go to Properties, and check the Unblock button at the bottom if it says it was blocked because it came from the internet. If you don't do this, the installer will not have the proper privileges, and this will lead to erroneous installation.

To prevent Windows from automatically blocking downloaded files, check this guide: Enable or Disable Block Files Downloaded from Internet in Windows
