Strix Scar 2025 SSD Installation Question

Hi, I have a question about SSD installation on latest Strix Scar 18 2025. I see from the laptop there is one empty slot for extra SSD. Do I need SSD cover for it just like the original SSD that has been installed on laptop? Or I can just insert the SSD, no need for the cover? What SSD do you recommend?

I just installed an 512 GB SSD on my Strix g16 2025 without any cover and it works fine, just get an NVME gen4 SSD from a reputed brand (preferably with a DRAM cache) and you would be fine.
