Probably need to reapply the liquid metal. You could try undervolting first, as that will likely help, but ultimately, it will likely only get worse with time, so you'll need to replace it eventually. Also keep in mind, that you'll likely need to reapply it every 6-12 months after that as it will slowly degrade again.
