Im trying to do a clean install off a Windows 11 usb drive created with the Windows Media Creation Tool. I get as far as selecting the Drive to Install Windows 11 to and it doe not list a Drive. Drive is missing. And I dont believe it takes a special driver? Model NVMe WD PC SN5000S SDEQNSJ-1T00-1002. Which seems to be a Western Digital Drive. I updated the Firmware on the driver via MyAsus back about 3 months ago when I got this drive.
Any suggestions?
thanks!

Here you have the appropriate driver, unpack it to a bootable pendrive and use it during installation click load driver😉

I followed this to no success. I went to download the Intel Rapid Storage Driver and it says my system is not supported when trying to run the file.

That did it. I was missing the drivers for the drive. Thanks again!

The easiest way is to disable VMD in the BIOS.
Enabled VMD may cause problems in the future when installing two Windows on one disk or after a bootloader failure.
The VMD feature is useful for backing up OS/Linux servers, but the average user does not need it.
