I'm thinking to add a second SSD into an empty slot.
I'm choosing between Corsair MP600 PRO NH 8TB PCIe 4.0 (https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/p/data-storage/cssd-f8000gbmp600pnh/mp600-pro-nh-800gb-pcie-4-0-gen-4-...)
and
WD BLACK SN850X NVMe SSD - 8TB (https://www.westerndigital.com/en-ca/products/internal-drives/wd-black-sn850x-nvme-ssd?sku=WDS800T2X...)
But I heard these SSD can run pretty hot under load. I don't plan to use it much write operations (99% of the time they will be read only)
Does someone here has experience using that large drives with this (or similar) laptop model? How hot it runs, any trottling issues? Do you use thermal pads with it?
