It is not the same model. You can submit a specific request for this model through assistance on the site.

How you do that?

What about Asus ROG-GL502VT BIOS update? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Yes, I'm waiting for the GL502Vt bios update too. If Asus will not provide any update for this model, I will contact Amazon for a refund.

You can translate it with google translate. In other words, Asus told me that GL502Vt will be updated as soon as the microcode for the 6th generation cpu will be released by Intel 😉

Hi just curious did this affect GL702Z AMD Ryzen Chips as well??

No GL502VMK 😞

Well, and still no Update for the GL702VMK. Very disappointing asus...

Hi everyone!
What means TBC in BIOS update graph on asus.com? To be confirmed? I.e. microcode fix is not yet available?
Or BIOS 306 for GL553 is that BIOS update fixing Spectre/Meltdown issues?

TBC --- to be confirmed
Microsoft will fix spectre 2
NO BIOS UPDATE NEEDED
Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 patch will address Spectre Variant 2 CPU flaw

OK, lets check.
1) "Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 patch will address Spectre Variant 2 CPU flaw
Microsoft now provides a new manual update for Windows 10 devices based on sixth-generation Intel processors. It addresses the Spectre Variant 2 flaw in these CPUs, which could give hackers access to sensitive information if they have direct contact with the device."
Go through the link
2) "KB4090007: Intel microcode updates

Summary
Intel recently announced that they have completed their validations and started to release microcode for newer CPU platforms around Spectre Variant 2 (CVE 2017-5715 (“Branch Target Injection”))."
Also in the end:
"Consult with your device manufacturer’s and Intel’s websites regarding their microcode recommendation for your device before applying this update to your device."
