Hello,
I have just bought a new laptop GL552VW (with the plastic cover) and there is a little problem with the screen. There are 2 lighter pressure points on the screen near the frame (as shown in the pictures bellow). When I apply a little pressure near the frame the spots are moving around, which confirms that the cause of the brighter spots is too much pressure from the plastic frame.
However, they are only visible on black background. They are hardly seen when playing or doing ordinary stuff, but i know they are there and that bothers me.
I don't want start the warranty procedure because i guess solution is trivial and not too complicated. Anyway i decided to write here before taking any further action to check if you have better solution.
I could try to insert something sharp between the top cover and the frame (carefully). Do you thing this will fix the problem?
