HI Folks
I have been suffering with this problem for some time, it happened with an MSI laptop I had and it was worse but the Asus I replaced it with was fine until I tried to play Outlaws. The issue occurs when using USB to produce sound - it can be either 2.0 or 3.0 doesn't matter which. Underload, when the RTX is doing something graphically intensive, the sound starts to cut out and eventually goes altogether. I experienced this only recently on this laptop but I have never found a solution. I'm on the latest Windows version, MyAsus says everything is up-to-date, but it still happens. I use a USB mixing desk as I was a streamer a while back but I don't want to get rid of it as it's brilliant for my work as well as home stuff. It only appears to happen with really graphically intensive games like Outlaws.
I am not sure if this will get any hits but I feel like it must be a 4080 issue because I have had two laptops from two different manufacturers with 4080s in them and both have not been able to cope with USB sound output.
Any help or advice would be appreciated!
