Scratching noise from my DVD drive.

Hey guys. I have the g75-as71. I'm noticing every now and then my dvd drive (at least I think it's the dvd drive) will make a scratching sound. There's no disc in there.

Might seem like a harmless issue for now, but I'm worried if something's wrong. Never heard my dvd drive make the sound like it's reading a disc when there's no disc in there.

basically, a quick fix would be to disable the ODD in Power4Gear:

Sorry, idk if this post is too old... but my Power4Gear Hybrid isn`t like that... and I have the same problem and is very annoying... can someone help me plz?
