Safe temps for ROG Strix G17 2022 3080 Laptop GPU?

Hi!

I have a Rog Strix G17 2022 (G17RS) with a 3080 Laptop GPU in it and using HWINFO I noticed that the card hits 86c and about 110% of its TDP? its that normal or good?

I know the card has a stated max of 93c on it and if I set the fan speed to turbo, it goes much lower to about 75 or so.

Please dont ask me to not use Armory Crate, I have been using it since I got the laptop in october.

Modern GPUs are basically designed to go faster until cooling is the limiting factor and then they throttle back. The GPU will protect itself from overheating so you do not need to worry about that. Where you might have a concern is if it is constantly throttling down to a low clock speed and staying there. This would manifest as unusually poor performance in games. In that situation there could be something wrong with the cooling system.
