Hi every1! I have Asus Rog Strix g713pv (2023).
I have this problem from Zephkek's article:
"The code lacks critical checks for the laptop's hardware state (MUX mode)."
"Once again, the firmware prepares to cut power to the discrete GPU without first checking if it's the only GPU driving the displays."
Because of this I and apparently lots of Asus ROG users don't use Sleep Mode at all when only discrete card mode is used (which is actually the only option when you use an external monitor). After waking up from the sleep mode the system crashes. As I understand the problem happens because of the issue that Zephkek described in his article.
I've installed new BIOS 336 2025/10/07 which has been quickly released as Asus promised but the issue is still there. The system still crashes after waking up from the sleep mode when on the only discrete card mode.
