I recently bought an HP Docking Station G5 for my ASUS ROG Strix Scar laptop. I have two Samsung monitors (G9 and G8), a mouse, keyboard, and other USB devices connected to the dock, and everything is working fine. The dock is powering my laptop through the USB-C cable with the included 120W adapter.
However, I can't seem to power on my laptop using the dock's power button. I need to open the laptop and use its own power button to turn it on, which is inconvenient since I want to keep the laptop closed and operate everything from the dock.sI
there a way to enable the dock’s power button to turn on the laptop, or is this a compatibility issue between the dock and my ASUS laptop? Any help would be appreciated!
