Just a heads up for anyone wanting to buy an ASUS laptop, like this one. My suggestion, don’t touch them. For a high end laptop that’s slower than a system with half the performance parts is quite pathetic.
Also as for warranty, there is no such thing.
They just blame the software and basically put the blame on you. So if you buy ASUS, I would assume unless it’s a major fault where it won’t boot or turn on, you have no warranty as I have found out.
The 13980HX cpus are know to have issues, but apparently mine doesn’t.
i hope this helps anyone else considering buying from ASUS.
Please don’t make the mistake i did.
Once used to be a good brand.
not anymore!

Hello,
Are you able to go into more details with the issues you have? (Temperature related or something else?)

You are absolutely correct. That is just unbearable scam. Since start of the 2024 they put prisonish power throttles to these. I have exact same laptop with you g834JY. WHATEVER I do i can't fix the machine. I have became a professor of CPUs just because of this machine. All you can try is to do break BIOS RollBack guards and to go to earliest or beta BIOS versions. Or modding the BIOS idk these are different rabbit holes anyways. I am at my wits end, this laptop is not suited to do anything. It worked greatly at 2023 from there on just downhill. They dont even have a single thing in their "ADVANCED" Bios settings. I swear i can rant about these laptops for days with my educated knowledge but it has no end to it. If i could go back in time i would literally give the 4000$ i paid for this useless cr*p to any charity without a second thought. Never gonna buy a single ASUS product ever again.

im also having issues on a brand new laptop i might just return, shame tho perfect size but the performance just doesnt match the specs, any chance you might have been effected by wht this genius redditor discovered https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUSROG/comments/1nivf1v/asus_gaming_laptops_have_been_broken_since_2021_a/

I know right. Wasted literal half a year over this issue. It was just insanely tiresome. This guy on the reddit explains it all. I have been begging ASUS for a beta BIOS which they wont provide. I will try to sell this crappy thing to whatever price someone offers to me. I am just so exhausted trying everything try to mod or rollback the BIOS to earliest ones.

How much you want for it? I'm interested.

How much are you willing to pay I am actually trying my last troubleshoots to see if i can fix my issues. How much are you willing to pay. At where I am from (Turkey) it's price is currently 4.714$. I can work with 60% of it. Though not sure if it's price would be that high in other countries since in Turkey many stuff are overly taxed at sales.
