I had previously ASUS ROG Strix Scar 17 AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX with RTX 4090
Due to a lot of problems as a result twice repairing it in service, on 3rd time I changed it.
Now ASUS ROG Strix Scar 18 2024 with Intel I9 14900HX and RTX 4090
The problem is with Counter Strike 2. Playing a game, CSDM for example. Game is spiking every 30 secs approximately and they are like 1 sec spikes.
On a previous laptop I turned off variable refresh rate in windows and it helped.
But here I had it enabled and the situation was the same with spikes, so I turned it off again but it is still the same issue.
Other games like RDR2, NFS Unbound everything is smooth.
Any advices?

I get it, it is the GPU that goes to stock clock speed of 1455 Mhz and then rises up to 2000+ Mhz boosting when power draw is rising.

Download HwInfo and check the temperatures while gaming to see if the CPU or GPU is thermal throttling
