Rog Strix Scar 17 G733PZ Screen burnin

Hello! I've had my G733PZ for about a year, and lately, I've noticed something odd happening with the display. After playing games for extended periods, especially ones with static white HUD elements, it seems like I’m getting a type of screen burn-in. From what I’ve read, IPS screens aren’t supposed to experience burn-in, so I’m not sure if it’s something else causing the issue. Could this be a different type of screen effect, and are there any solutions to fix or prevent it from happening in the future?

I’d really appreciate any guidance! I’ve attached some pictures so you can see what it looks like.

Thanks!

If you have any issues in the future, send it for repair before the warranty ends.

If possible, make the elements of this HUB transparent.

You can also set your brightness to 95% or 90%, but I don't think this is a big problem.

You can use an app to calibrate your HDR, which can help extend your display's life and improve colors. Just watch some YouTube videos on how to do it. The app is:

Tiny update, the "burn in" seems to go away after a little while.

I’ve noticed that the effect reappears whenever I play games with white HUD elements, but it does seem to fade away after a few hours. Since my device is still under warranty, I’m considering sending it in for repair if you think that would be worthwhile. What do you think, is it worth pursuing a repair?

Thanks for your advice!

100% yes if your laptop have a problem better send it before the warranty end becouse after this if the problems get bigger you must pay the new display so is not a problem to send it later but someday you must send it

Okay, will do thanks for the advice!
