As the title says, recently purchased a ROG Strix SCAR 16 laptop (4090). While checking some stuff with GPU-Z, I noticed (even when the GPU is under load) the PCIe lanes where showing 4.0 PCIe x8, when 4.0 PCIe x16 what the 4090 mobile supports. I saw nothing about this online and was wondering if anyone else is having this issue? I feel like it should be running with the full bandwidth and cant find anything in the BIOS that would be causing this. Also tried swapping out and around my SSDs incase they were taking up lanes somehow, they were not.
