Hi everyone,

I purchased this laptop with the expectation that it would perform excellently while playing Rust, but it's not meeting my expectations. The FPS is consistently below 100, regardless of whether I use maximum or minimum settings, and it's driving me crazy.

I've experimented with 1080p, 2k, and 4k resolutions, but nothing seems to improve the FPS. The laptop's temperatures are fine, as it has adequate cooling and the temperatures stay below 80 degrees.

I've even tried overclocking the CPU to 5.6GHz+ and undervolting by 80mv, but it hasn't made a difference.

My CPU is the 13980HX and 4080, and I have the latest BIOS and drivers installed.

What can I do? My old desktop, equipped with a 1070 Ti and i5-8600K, outperformed this laptop.

The RAM is 32GB running at 4800MHz.

This is frustrating! Please help.

If you hit the max TDP of the laptop your CPU can get in limited power and is not able to provide higher fps i think this can be one of the reason but you must make some test to see temps watt usage CPU GPU frequency things like this
