ROG Strix G713QM Locking Up

My ROG STrix G713QM has been freezing recently when seemingly nothing is happening.  I may just be browsing the web or watching a Youtube video or typing up a document and the laptop will freeze.  The Aura lights on the keyboard also freeze.  I have to hold the power button in to hard power cycle it.  If I am playing a game, I have no issues and can play for hours.  But if I'm using it in "low power mode" then it seems to freeze randomly.  Any assistance would be appreciated!

It's probably when the system is switching between the igpu and the dgpu... There does not seem to be a real fix but if you run the system on extreme so it is only using the dgpu. You will have to turn up your fans or you run the risk of overheating and getting shutdowns.
