I recently bought Asus Rog Strix G512Li laptop. First, I wanted to connect hdd (2.5" internal) into asus mainboard, but I didn't find any cable. So where can I buy such hdd cable? I already have 2TB 2.5" sata ssd disk, so I just need ssd-cable. if hdd/ssd cable is possible to install, then can I use hdd+ two m.2 slots near "hdd area" at same time (so to have used hdd + 3 m.2 slots at same time)?
Second, I am thinking about possibility of adding m.2 nvme disk to pcie slots. I don't have any extra m.2 nvme disks, but they are faster, so in case if hdd/ssd cables are not available, I should ask about maximum supported speeds of m.2 nvme slot. Also I should know: does my laptop supports two-sided m.2 nvme disks? And important is: which version is PCIexpress is in my laptop? is it version 3 or 4 or maybe even 5? I had on old laptop a m.2 nvme pci-express version 3 as maximum, so its speed was no more than 4000Mb/s. If it is pci-e 4 - then speed should be two times more - around 8000M/s. If luckily my Rog Strix laptop supports pci-e 5 then I hope I can install even 12 000 M/s speed disks. so what nvme max speeed/ version is supported?
