I have the G814JI model and I got this laptop a year ago. Since then, my battery wear became 13.3% (just 3 days ago it was 10% and since then I only used with max. 60% charge!) and in my opinion, there is no way that this is normal. I almost always used my battery in 80% mode, I probably did a 100% charge only some low number of times, I have another PC I use for long work and I only use this laptop while I'm not home or in vacation.
I'm pretty sure battery stuff aren't accepted for warranty, and I don't even know if ROG sells batteries for these devices since if it goes like this, I'll need one as early as next year. Is this a common thing in most laptops or even ROG laptops, I'm very confused right now.

Mine had about 16% wear after 1 year, and battery was also always on 80% charge.

Having ~15% wear seems to be expected. Even though I don't think mine had a lot of charge cycles, but perhaps chemical degradation causes sufficient wear on its own.

try to install this official app and set it to 60% if you dont have any other way to set a 60% limit

And for this battery wear % maybe is on luck on my old laptop that have the same battery like your for 1 year my battery wear was around 8-9% so in your case maybe this is normal
Only thing that you can do is to set 60% charge limit and watch the battery if get too bad send it to warranty
Only thing that i am not sure how long is the warranty of the battery some device have 1 year battery warranty and 2 for the device

Do they at least sell replacement batteries? If it goes like this I'll need a new one in 2-3 years.

I’ve had the G18 for a little over a year, today I also saw exactly 13% battery wear level, I discharged the battery about 10 times in a year, all the time it was 80%. It's a shame, but what to do... 😒

Huh interesting. Definitely expected then. I hope that the battery technologies improve over time because a 2-3 years lifetime for a battery is really not ideal.
