Hi

I got lines on my ROG strix g16, I bought this May 2023, so far it was good until now after I install a game on steam and completed installing, I shut it down to rest my laptop. After 1 hour try to turn on to play it, black background with lines in the center appears, only hear the ROG sound when you turn on and nothing happen. I waited for 30 secs to see if it will go to window desktop. instead the line started to grow/got many. in panic I force to turn it off.

On an external monitor does it work or not?

I don’t have external monitor, this was may first ever gaming laptop, use it both gaming and personal use. Planning to buy external monitor near future but don’t have the budget as of now.

Connect your laptop with a USB-C signal cable--> HDMI to your TV. On the laptop, the TB/DP port.

iIll buy USB-C signal cable-HDMI today, can the screen still be fixed?
