ROG STRIX G16 Line Flickering

I just bought  a Rog Strix G16 (2025) and it arrived today. There was a thin line that kept flickering on top of the screen. As the first thing I updated all the drivers but it remained. Then I changed the screen refresh rate to 60Hz from 165Hz and it disappeared. Should I ask for a new one? Is there any other fix?

Yes this does seem like a hardware defect with the screen so no point waiting around, get it replaced.

Before exchanging it, have you tried toggling off overdrive mode for the display in Armoury Crate?
