So I just got a new ROG STRIX G16 with an I9-14900HX and an RTX 4080 and I've had it for exactly a week now and at first I was pretty happy with it as it had a solid chasis and some great general design overall however, as soon as I started the first game(GTA V) I started seeing some high thermal numbers(I'm talking 90+ constantly just a few minutes after starting the game with a few drops to the high 80s on both performance and turbo mode) However setting a manual fan profile and setting a power limit to the CPU kind of fixed the issue.
A few days later, I started having some random mini stutters on pc startup preceded by a USB plugged in sound and followed by a USB plugged off sound and twice the whole screen turned off while the keyboard is still working and this may last for a few seconds(Upwards to 20 seconds) which with these specs doesn't seem like something that can happen.
Is it just a faulty piece and should I return it or are there some settings that I need to change?
