I just got the laptop today and I’m already having problems. After using it for a short amount of time the build-in keyboard and any usb devices connected stop working. I’ve already updated all my drivers and the bios but the problem still happens. Customer support said there’s nothing else they can do for me and suggested either getting a refund or replacement.

Second post on the forum with this issue. I'm in the same boat. Seems there might be a hardware issue. So unfortunate because it's a killer laptop.

Yes, I am experiencing the same issue. However, I believe it happens due to CPU overheating. Some cores are reaching TJ. Max levels. Dont know what to do.

I think it's heat related too. I was seeing 100 degrees while gaming at times. This seems way too hot. I wonder if a batch had problems with thermal paste or something. I hope Asus acknowledges this issue and can explain what is wrong. Unfortunately I decided to return mine today rather than dealing with back and forth RMAs.

I had the same problem i already update everything and that happens in the most demanding games , keyboard disconnect , sound and usb ports only can use mousepad

I called tech support and they said update the bios but i can't access to the bios config, after hold F2 the screen still black and nothing happens

I check the temperature with msi afterburns and don't see any overheat so far 

I will testing a couple more stuff but probably asking for a replacement, and i hope just had a bad luck one
